Royal Mail deliveries

Problems with your post? Tell me here

1 October 2026

Some of you in Brownsover and across Rugby have told me your post can take up to a month to arrive, and that you’ve gone weeks without a delivery. People have missed hospital appointments and important letters as a result. I’ve raised this in Parliament and I will keep raising it.

I’ve also met Royal Mail. They accept there have been problems in Rugby and put them down to a range of issues. They are changing how post is sorted and delivered: first class will go out six days a week and second class on fewer days. The new sorting system went live in Rugby recently, and staff shift patterns will change over the coming weeks and months. Royal Mail says this has improved deliveries where it has already been introduced. I want to see the same here.

If you send or receive post for blind or partially sighted people, including the Rugby Talking Newspaper, write “Articles for the Blind” clearly on the front. Royal Mail has told me these items should then go first class, and they are looking at reminding every member of staff in Rugby of that duty.

Please tell me what’s happening with your post using the form below. Every report shows Royal Mail where and when deliveries are failing, and tells me whether their changes are working.

Report a problem with your post

It takes about two minutes. Your reports help me map where deliveries are failing across Rugby, and I share that picture with Royal Mail. For problems with your own post, you can also contact Royal Mail directly. How your information is used.
